We've done our best to compile an accurate list of all past champions that have won a Silver Stick Finals over the years. Some of the Finals don't have all of their history on file as they go back quite a long time ago. Luckily, I've gotten most of the champions dating all the way back to 1958!
In the beginning, it was more of a "Friendly" between Ottawa and Potsdam, NY, so in the early days (1958-1962), there were only teams from those areas that won it. Ottawa won the Silver Stick in 1959, 1960 and '61, while Potsdam, NY won the "Stick" in 1958 and 1962. From that point on, it transformed into more of a tournament, and was hosted in Port Huron, Michigan, the home of the Silver Stick.
